Overall, technology and gadgets are fantastic fun to have around.
However, in day-to-day life, there are little annoyances you have
to deal with.
Cables get tangled, you have no place to put a phone while it's
charging, the keys in between the keyboard aren't easy to clean
and other things pop up regularly. True, there are gadgets and
products you can buy to help, but you don't really want to spend
more money on top of the money you've already spent
That's why I'm bringing you some of the best cheap hacks I've
found to improve your tech life. I've got better ways to organize
cables, how to clean your keyboard keys, a great way to mount your
phone in the car and more.
The best part is that you can do all of these with items you
already have in your house. So, without further ado, let's get
started on improving your tech life without spending any money.
Number 5 is my favorite, just so you know.1. Bread clip cable
organizer
You probably throw away several bread clips a month, but if you
keep them around they make great labels for the mass of cords
going into a power strip.
If you're tired of dealing with tangled headphone cables, a bread
clip works great for that as well.
2. Lotion bottle phone holder
Have you ever had to charge up your phone at an outlet that doesn't
have a table nearby. You cringe as you set your expensive phone
on the floor where someone might kick it or trip over the charger
cord. Instead, turn an old lotion bottle into a phone holder.

3. Sticky note keyboard cleaner
Wiping down a keyboard with disinfectant wipes is simple, and I highly
recommend it to avoid getting the flu and other sickness, but
getting the gunk in between the keys is much harder. Skip the cotton
swabs and swipe something else you have on your desk.
Yep, a sticky note is thin enough to fit in between the keys and
the sticky part picks up hair, dust and other icky items.
4. Gift card earbud holder
I mentioned before that bread clips are a good way to organize
headphone cables, but with earbuds you can take things a step
farther. You just need one of the many gift cards lying around.

5. Binder clip phone holder
Where do you put your phone when you're in the car? On the
passenger seat or in the center console. That means if you want to
do anything with it you have to root around and take your eyes
off the road.
You could get an expensive phone mount, but instead, keep it front
and center with this cool binder clip trick. It holds the phone
and lets you attach it to any air vent.
Warning: I know you know this, but always keep phone use to a
minimum while driving. Do not text, trying to enter a GPS
destination or load up a new music playlist. Do that before you
set off and keep your eyes on the road.
